My last day in the hospital started off great. The nurse gave me a mohawk just like Uncle Mike's, which made Mommy, Daddy, and Granny laugh.
Before we left, I got a visit from Mommy's doctor and a circumcision. I hope I never have to go through that again! It wasn't so bad though, I soon forgot all about it after they brought me back to Mommy and Daddy. Mommy had to fill out a lot of paperwork and was given a lot of directions and then I was off to get my checkup before they let me go home. One of the nurses brought Mommy and Daddy my new car seat that I'd get to ride home in and then we were ready to go!
I was pretty sleepy on the ride home, but I impressed Mommy and Daddy by holding my head up almost the whole way!
We had a lot of visitors waiting for us when we arrived home. Grandpa Larry and my other Grandma Vicki, my Great Grandmas Marie and Alice, Granny and PaPaw, Uncle Jeff, and Mommy's cousin Aaron. Everyone was so excited to meet me and I soon grew tired. Everyone said goodbye and then we headed off to bed. Once inside my bassinet I decided I wasn't tired anymore at all. Mommy and I stayed up almost the entire night. I looked so adorable in my bassinet that Mommy couldn't help herself from taking a few pictures.
I didn't like the bright light from the flash though, and I didn't hesitate to let her know. Finally, after a few bottles, stories, and songs we both went to sleep.
